I really have no idea why eggplants are called eggplants. Anyone want to Google that for me and let me know?

    In the middle ages, some traders from Asia brought a very rare white eggplant with a fruit shaped just like a chicken egg. Called aubergine throughout Europe, a better name that refers to it’s purple color. Also called mad apples in some places because eating the fruit is believed to make you insane! Also, they don’t grow well on our mountain.
